Invitation to press conference in Berlin
Every year, NABU and its Bavarian partner SELECTION, the National Association for the Birds (LBV), the "Bird of the Year". As a "classic" among the now numerous natural objects of the year, the annual bird advertises specifically for the protection of a species and its habitat. The first title was 1971 the then endangered peregrine falcon, which is now no longer endangered, thanks to intensive conservation work in his portfolio.
